Parking switch 77
« on: May 01, 2012, 09:12:08 AM »
Has anyone got a spare parking brake switch for a 77 A. I have jumped the brake switch connectors to deal with no brake lights but the switch  plunger is really stuck in and I have not been able to get it unstuck I would like to keep it original. I will disassemble my switch if I have to but replacment seems a better solution.
Thanks

I think there was one on EBay just very recently.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Parking switch on ebay now (but includes more than you want):

http://www.ebay.com/itm/76-78-HONDA-CB750-CB-750-PARKING-BRAKE-LOCK-MECHANISM-/400293565078?_trksid=m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D3%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D8120758540045377413

Yes, the 76 to 78 switches are the same (have the same Honda part number).

You could also try asking the seller to sell you just the switch . . . .

Thanks I missed it when looking last night.  I just bought it just to have it and will put the rest on the shelf for now if anyone needs something.
