Braided lines on Dual disc 750 Q
« on: May 02, 2012, 09:56:52 AM »
Just found out that they now have -2 brakeline for mountain bikes. Just wondering if it would be too small to use on dual disc stock 750 front end? and if the performance would be worse with moremosrd calipers, ie 4 piston calipers..
Not roadracing, just need to stop sometimes..

If they are in your are I would try a company called Pirtek USA. The local one here in Denver makes DOT Stainless Braided brake lines. They make them however you want them. Made to you spec. I was just there two weeks ago and waited for a new line to be made. 22 bucks and 15 minutes including the compression washers.

It looks like they got a couple of stores in Seattle. A bit of a drive from Kelowna.

I would rather make them myself, they fit very nice, and I am not fonda banjos that everyone seems to love ..rolling eyes..
plus I can make my own adaptors, just need the hose, and bolt together ends..
