solo seat/ cafe bike

I forgot who recently asked about solo seats, but here's one on ebay. Doesn't look too bad, I guess.

There was a cafe bike that I thought looked really good too, considering I'm not a fan of them. I can appreciate a nice one when I see it.

Have a great day and make the rain stop!

I bought a solo seat for my CB , and after playing around with it for awhile , ended up selling it becasue it in no way "flowed" with the lines of the bike. I have seen some look good, but mine just wasnt doin it for me...

I don't remember seeing one where the rear chrome fender was still retained. Seat height is just too high to flow quite right and I'm guessing everybody likes the look of a solo seat on a harley, how it's nestled down a bit. I know I do!

Here's mine.
When I rebuilt my CB the back was rusted out pretty bad so after cutting off the bad stuff the solo was pretty much my only option. I'm eventually going to fab my own seat pan that will flow nicer but in the mean time this one has worked out. Soon I'm going to be going for a Steetfighter/Cafe look, and with the solo I think it will be fairly unique.

I have seen a few bikes where people have either moved the battery or gotten a smaller one so they could "notch" the frame
in order to have the seat sit
in
the bike , rather than
on
the bike. I guess it is better known as "konging" becasue some guy by that name was the first to do it / internet it. Lots of guys over at hondachopper.com do it...
Porb. the only way to make a solo seat flow with these bikes..
