DID front rim
« on: May 21, 2012, 05:02:20 PM »
Can anyone please tell me if there is a difference in quality between:
An original, stock DID Rim from a 71 CB750K
A new Honda DID rim with the DID stamp on the side of the rim

My original rim is in decent shape but I have a new one that would prob look nice with my new spokes. If the new ones are poorer quality then I'll just stay with the old one.

Thanks!

No answer for NEW versus original.....but if the NEW rim is actually an NOS '77 or '78 and later rim with the 'edge' stamps as used on the late CB750s and occasionally stocked at dealers, it should give you the same reliability as the original.
