Interesting read. The number one reason for hard starting is "Incorrect Use of Choke". Perhaps the guy in the other thread who was cranking his starter relentlessly should have read this first.

This guide is excellent. I wish I'd had it to read prior to starting on my carb rebuild recently, I would have had a much better knowledge of the way things work and directions for how things all fit together. I took pictures upon dis-assembly but there is always an angle or two that you failed to get when you have to go with that method.
