Nice score, I had a silver SL125 and it was a good little river rider.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

congrads Tango, looks to be in good shape and all there. Somebody must of put the turn signals on, did not come factory. There great little trail bikes. These bikes are few and far between. Back in 71 I had a new red 1971 SL175. Rode it to HS,work, and did a lot of trail riding with it, very reliable and tuff. Loved it. In 74 I traded it in on a 1974 CB360.

thanks guys, good info dhall thanks

First thing im going to do is get it running tonight.   Then im going to represent Vintage Dirt Bikers and race it in the Hendricks County Motocross race.  (not really going to race, just ride it  in the race for show).  Then im going to clean her up and decide whether or not to flip it as im in the middle of two builds (kawi h1 & a cb750).      clean the tank and carbs, adjust valves, new plugs, timing and she should be good to go. fingers crossed!  Who knows i might just have to add her to the collection.  Should look good next to the honda dream.

the SL is more of a dirt/trail bike, the CL was more of a street bike.

heres a pic of my old cl175 (missing heat shield) and a SL175 to see the differences.
