Nab a pic of it while you're at it because I'd like to see how he got it to work with the early K tank. Maybe there's a diff between the K0 and K3 tank but our K3 tank was a bit shorter than the 77F tank and with the F seat mounted properly there was a gap between the seat and tank. Could've moved the seat forward to meet it but it didn't look right plus I would've had issues with the seat lock and oil tank if we did.

This probably isnt the place to discuss it, so i started a new thread for the bike and the pic is in there

Hey Chuck,

Yes that was Saturday - more info about our trip and more photos here:

http://nehondaguys.info/forums/index.php?topic=1448.msg12183#new

On Saturday we had a great ride over the Catskills and managed to outrun the storms at every point. We went up Rt 55 from Newburgh, NY then took Rt 19 to Rt 47 (great road!) over the mountains and finally Rt23A back to the Hudson River.

Then we headed back to Vermont via Rt 23 through Mass up until Northampton and then took the highway. We outran the monster storm with literally minutes to spare - as we sped hastily up I91 to Brattleboro, VT the sky went black and the winds were suddenly ferocious - tonrnado watch was in effect and I could see why - I was getting blown around the highway and had to drop the speed back to the speed limit ;)  Large spots of rain fell on the highway but it held off until we reached the cabin and we listened to the peals of thunder and dramatic lightening as the rain came down in torrents. A great end to the day!

Cheers
Andy

Sounds great!  Glad you did not get soaked.  It hit the western Catskills around 3:00 and it was not something anyone would ride through.  I admit to being a wus when it comes to riding in the rain.  Been there, done it plenty...HATE IT.

Andy, I'm presuming this was the same storm that tore up NYC. I've never ridden in a twister before and I'd just as soon keep it that way!

Nope - never eaten there actually. Ride past it every time we head down the Trace to Leipers Fork to get BBQ at Puckett's. Regular weekend ride for the PseudoMoto crew :)

Having just celebrated her 34th birthday on 1st Sept. 2012 here's my CB400 four parked near Southerness lighthouse on the Solway Firth. (southwest Scotland)  There are 2 different countries in this photo with the Cumbrian (Lake District) hills of England in the background.

Mmm not sure about the less stupid look but its funny how your clothes match your bike ;) Do you always colour-coordinate with your bike before going for a ride?  ;) ;D

Bikes looking good! Since this is not a pin-up Calendar a photo of only the bike and some wonderful NZ scenery will suffice  8)

cheers

Dress sense - nah....stylish dressing is not one of my finer points. That jacket is however now confined to a nail hook on the back of the graage wall - and I now sport a more up with the Jones's Codura vinyl, amoured,  padded job...I think the leather jacket was better - but i developed a little laterally and the old leather started to cut off my air supply. I need to do more running.
