I like blue too.
The blue flower in the best part of the season (June) when temperature is ok and at least 3 months left to ride.  ;D
They are common in pink, white and velvet too.

PeWe…… That blue plant is known as “LUPINE” in Canada. We have lots!

We say Lupin in Sweden. ;D
Some say it is an invasive flower. I love it.  It's summer for me...

My 10 dollar antique yard sale sword.......Many years back the Wife and I were at a local yard sale on Saturday morning.  I had almost passed it up because the seller didn't even bother to set up tables, all the items were on the ground laying on tarps.  The sword was in the middle of a pile of used clothing and dishes with no price.  When I inquired, the lady said 10 bucks, and me being the total Gentlemen I am I didn't even try to counter offer.  We haven't been to a yard sale in years, our local newspaper is down to about four pages on a good day and costs an arm and leg for a subscription so no one posts ads for sales anymore.  I first thought it was Civil War, but after some research it is believed to from later in the century, possibly Spanish American War.  My only great yard sale find and I will keep forever....
