I'm pissed off that your son has a WRX and I don't, Scott. I've become a Subaru convert over the last couple of months after spending the princely sum of 450 bucks on a 1995 Liberty (Legacy in the US) sedan with a "sports" exhaust and a rear spoiler, and if I squint my eyes and hunch down I can pretend that I'm driving a sports car.

I'd love a WRX though, but I don't like borrowing money, so I have to wait until I've saved up enough to buy a tired WRX for cheap that needs some love............. ;D
Terry, drop a WRX motor and driveline in the liberty.  There is a fella up here who has one in a Brumby, that thing is a hell of a sleeper.  It eats clubbies for breakfast ;D

Spazz, I don't know your story but seriously I had a wife like yours a few years ago.  After nearly 7 years of her bull #$%* I told her to #$%* off.  It was tough for a couple of years, both financially and emotionally, but looking back now I'm bloody glad I got rid of the psycho #$%*.  I'm much better off and re-married to the nicest person I have ever met ;D
That's the thing tho. a couple years back it wasn't like this.

Yep, mine was the same.  I found out after, that around the same time she went psycho that she also started shagging around while I was at work >:(
That's not cool at all
 that sucks sorry
That's in the back of my head all time. but unless she going work or maybe the store. she doesn't leave the house and that half of our fights right there. I want to be out doing thing with the kids a dog. not siting in the house. you know what I mean

Yeah mate, it does suck.  We have 3 kids, not seeing them every day has been the hardest part of all.  I still get to see them but it is still tough sending them back to their mother.  But again I don't know your story, so please don't take anything I say as advice.  Just what happened to me. :-\

It's a 2012 and being he already works for Subaru he got a pretty good deal on it but it still wasn't cheap. Before getting it he came over so we could go over his finances to make sure he could make the payments, we considered worse case scenario as in no over time, his room mate were to move out and stick him with all the rent and so on and all was good. The kid took a 2 year robotics course in college and promptly lands a job at Subaru working on their robots and making more $ than me.

With all the trouble Spazz is going through with his lady it dawned on me that there is one tiny detail we forgot to figure into his worst case scenario finances and that is if our kid finds a lady and falls in love, his finances will be screwed.  :o

Thanks Andrew, I nearly bought a twin turbo Legacy wagon recently, but decided to save my money for Christmas instead. What are your thoughts on the twin turbo Legacy drivelines? Supposedly they bung out around 260-280 BHP, which is a bit of an improvement over the Liberty's 125? Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I haven't had much to do with those particular models, but I was looking at buying an '05 WRX a few years back.  It went like a dog shot in the arse and handled like it was on rails.  Don't know the horsepower figures of it, but it was enough.  I've never seen any major issues with any of the Suby drivelines.  In my experience they are all pretty bulletproof ;D.

He finally brought it over today and oh yeah it flies but I got even with him for not bringing it by sooner. Right before I hopped in I had unknowingly stepped in some dog turd, (accidentally of course  ;) ) fresh for that matter with it all over my shoe which of course got all over his floor mats.

He stepped in some too because it was on the drivers side floormat before we switched drivers. He barked at me to wipe my shoes off as I got out out the passengers seat but when I noticed it on the drivers side I told him he better check his shoes too, a small carpet cleaner we have cleaned it up quickly once we got home.

It's an Impreza WRX, it's not the STi but its 2.5 flat 4 still gets your attention. He popped the hood on it and I swear it's intercooler for the turbo is bigger than the radiator. Nice car all in all, even my wife said she'd get in trouble with it after she drove it. Scary thought that was.  :)

I'm staying at a motel this week (work) and the restaurant doesn't open for another hour, and I'm hungry. I've got some whisky and dry here, but if I start drinking now I might forget to eat, and that'll piss me off when I sober up. Poop. ;D

Ha ha, nah, it's Regional Victoria Pete, and the nearest "establishment" is 30 miles away. No biggie, I had a nice steak and a couple of drinks and the whisky is going down very well. (even if the local women aren't) ;D

So we're sittin' around on a Fridee Arvo after work and neckin' a few coldies and there's a big mob of thunder and lightening and dark clouds hangin' around.

As the sun starts to disappear, the lightening starts and the thunder starts exploding in the sky and we're thinking "You bloody beauty" it's gonna piss down soon.  ;D

So anyway, a few more beers with the mozzies buzzing around and having a bit of chew on us and no fcuken rain.  ;D

Fcukit, make believe storms piss me off.   ;D

Nic pic Mick, we had some really good stormy weather last night, I had to drive my 86 year old Dad to his Lions Club meeting, and when I was sitting in the lounge room of his house, I was watching the trees bending over at right angles, fark it was fierce!

At least we haven't had any fires like those poor buggers in New South, but once we get a bit of dry weather the psycho's will be out lighting fires again. if I see any, I'll shoot the baastards with my .58 Springfield, and that'll piss 'em right off! ;D

Holy smokes I got some kind of "bug" or virus last night that put my immune system into whoop-ass mode. Within maybe one or 2 hours I went from feeling fine with a temp of around 97 to me shaking and shivering with a temp of 102. I had both a sweat shirt and sweat pants on with 2 blankets piled on and I still shivered as if I was in the antarctic. I've never ever shivered that bad in fact I thought my wife was going to have to take me to the ER it spooked me so much. I wake up this morn though with my temp back down to normal and I'm feeling fine again. WTF?

That used to happen to our kids occasionally Scott when they were "youngins"
For no reason they'd break out into a mean fever and shivering and sweating, then the following morning, they'd be up and about terrorising the joint again if nothing ever happened and that pissed me off. ;D

The nurses at the hospital would tell us to keep their head cool with a damp towel and to keep the liquids into them.

A skin full of Wild Turkey has the same effect in the morning too.  ;D

We get some bloody nice afternoon skies here at this time of the year mate.
Sky Blue on one side and as black as a ******* arse on the other with a flash of lightening chucked in.

The weather bods reckon that we're gonna be in for another good cyclone season this year with the ol' El Nino effect cruising around.
I think that it comes across from Sth America and originates in Peru.

The 'ol mate Andre went to Peru for a visit last year with his missus.
I asked him what Peru piss tasted like and he reckoned that it was yellow and fizzy but apart from that he sounded a bit pissed off that his missus made him go there.  ;D

If you find any of those phsyco's lightin' fires mate, give the pricks a dose of the Springfield and send 'em up.
I've got the keys to the digger which digs a bit deeper than 6 foot.  ;D
