For anybody who cares, 70 years of Hot Rod Magazine appears to be available for free.
I didn't sign up for a free trial, I just put my Google account name in and pow. To test it I looked up the May 1969 article "Honda's Big 4" about the CB750. Kewl stuff made in 69'. Probably my favorite year.

My tunnel-vision is so bad... I was thinking of the basic technological information I can get from these old mags which I could apply to my motorcycle. I completely glazed over the fact that this is a car magazine.
...I might have moto-fever...
