77/78F Rear Sets

Any tips re: availability of CB750F 1977/78F Rear Sets? Did the European versions have a different set-up (like the DOHC CB750F/900F and 6 cylinder CBX differed in USA and Europe)?
I just want an inch or 2 rearward but the rear brake pedal looks like a very difficult mod. As for the shifter, maybe a CB200/350/450 shifter is shorter? Anybody know?

Have you called Fast from the Past?  They have a set for the '76 but not '77?
I don't know the F models very well, what's the difference?
