O2 Sensor
« on: June 30, 2006, 06:56:56 PM »
Has anyone ever run one in the exhaust to help fine tune the carburation?  I was planning on buying some of those weld in bungs for oxygen sensors and put them in the exhaust since I have the pipes off right now to sandblast and paint black.  I have been thinking of the idea since I seen that you can buy air/fuel ratio gauges that hook up to an oxygen sensor.  If it works for tuning automobile carbs, it should work for cycles, right?

This has been discussed before. You need a 4 into 1 header and use a wideband unit. IE Dynojet. It is a great tool but it ain't cheap.
