If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! A few weeks ago, I disassembled and cleaned up my carbs (’78 CB750 on a ’72 CB750). I did this because I was having slight idling issues, they were very minor and could have been lived with…. Anyway, I decided to clean the carbs and rebuild them if they needed it. After cleaning and reassembly, I put them back on. Now I have even more idle issues and even a loss of power!
My top ten frustrations....
1) I can’t seem to get the throttle cables adjusted correctly, nor the choke cable.
2) I think that I am getting some fuel starvation through the fuel line.
3) I hope that I don’t have a manifold leak.
4) I am sure the carbs need to be synched.
5) I am pissed that I messed with them in the first place, because I haven’t had time to work on the bike and I should be riding it today.
6) I think I need professional help, both for the bike and my temper.
7) I am pretty sure I know what needs to be done, but I don’t think I have the ability to do it correctly.

Plus, I don’t own the synch gauges/tools.
9) Do you think I should bring the bike to the Honda tech?
10) What could I have reassembled incorrectly to cause these problems?
Thanks guys for listening to my frustration.
