300 baffles in 341 pipes?
« on: October 04, 2012, 08:58:58 AM »
Are the baffles different for 300 pipes then the 341's? My baffles are nice in the 300 pipes but pipes are shot. I have come across a nice set of 341's I plan to use. Can I swap out the baffles from the 300's to the 341's? Is there a difference in baffles or is the difference in the pipe themself?
Any rejetting issues/?

341 pipes have built-in baffles that are not removable.  The caps on the ends are just caps, not pull-out baffles like on the 300's.

You can use a looong 1/4" or so drill bit and add a buncha holes inside a 341 pipe and it'll breath better and sound healthier. You can also hacksaw the 341 end caps and they'll look like 300 baffle ends. Been there, done that
