  • Tryin' To Slow Down "Time"!

Yeah, I had previously bought a couple of '92 Dakotas, intending to Build the standard cab version, as a "Hot Rod" with a 440 6Pack and the Club Cab, as an "Everyday Driver" and keep it's 3.9 V-6 engine, Things are changing. Because of how things have changed in my life (getting remarried, relocating to Georgia and my going into retirement), I have rethought my position and I now have decided to go with a 4barrell setup on the 440, sell the 6pack carbs and intake (I hadn't gotten together the hardware needed to complete the setup) and now am thinking about converting the Club Cab, to the 440/727trans power train (with possibly an 8 3/4 rear end?

I had thought of listing the 6pack on here, but wasn't sure just where to put it, if I COULD list it here. Suggestions?

Bill, looks like a piece of art. To all those people that have never heard a six pac at full open, it's like the most beautiful sound you could ever imagine.

So glad I grew up as a gearhead..hehe

Well, the two circular midrange drums on the right ought to get $300-$400 each I'd say.

Thanks Guy, I REALLY had hopes of FINALLY having a 440 6Pack of my own. Yeah, the 440 6Pack Is Incredible with the Sound AND the Power, though MINE wouldn't have been a THOROUGH 6Pack Engine. Even though I was going to put it together and drop it in a '92 Dakota!  ;D Even though I had plans of doing it to the Dakota, I would catch myself thinking about how it would be to have the 6Pack on the GTX (with the big fiberglass 6Pack hood!  8)  ;)

Yeah, the Vacuum pods might bring a bit, but the only separating I will be doing, is to sell the carbs as a complete set and the manifold separately.  :)
