1972 CB350K side covers!
« on: July 10, 2006, 03:30:40 PM »
does anybody have a source for New MFG side covers? I have a small selection of used old covers but i'd rather spend a few extra $$$'s and get a set that will last another 30+ years.

While searching for replacement covers for my CB175, I recall seeing some guy in Brazil making 'new' covers for CB125's.  I wonder if he's ever planning on expanding his capacity?

Edit:  Ok, so it was Peru --> http://stores.ebay.com/Honda-Parts-Store and it looks like only CB125's.

Thanks! I contacted DavidSilverSpares in the UK, and told him i needed some and they said to check back in a few weeks! I hope that means I planted a bug!

If anyone is interested they have sidecovers available for the F models too!

I did get a set of the JC whitney cover for a bike I wasn't restoring and the quality wasn't all that great, but it was nicer than looking at fuse boxes and oil tanks! and they aren't too pricey!

I wouldn't mind an old set as long as they aren't too damaged/brittle, I'm building this bike for the long haul.

i'll check the condition - i know that they would have to be refurbished - i.e. sanded down and repainted and that there are some cracks...i haven't looked at them since last October...
