The powder coating "experts" that did my forks managed to get the stuff inside the tubes, I tried everything to remove it until I discovered that carburetor cleaner eats powder coat, be very careful as any that touches the powder coat will stuff your nice shiny parts but it does remove excess when some dickhead has shot it all over bits that should have been protected.
