  • So, what do ya wanna talk about today?
It's another stinking hot day today, so as I'm still on my annual leave, I decided to take my wife out to see a movie. As soon as we got onto the freeway the traffic stopped, and crawled along at walking pace. By 3pm (when the movie was due to start) we had travelled about a mile.

OK, change of plans, we hadn't had lunch anyway, so I droove to the local mall and had lunch at TGI Fridays. I enjoyed the burger and the two icy cold pints of "Pure Blonde", but my mind was in Cuba..........

There is a "Dan Murphy's" store next to TGI's, so I popped in (well, waddled in, after all that food and beer) and found some bottles of Cuban Rum. I liked this one's label, and brought it home. I'm just sipping on a glass of it over ice now, and it's pretty good. Not super expensive, anyone here tried it? Photobucket is playing up today, so I couldn't rotate the pic upright. Cheers, Terry. ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

No, none of that "shopping" business Steve, both TGI's and Dan Murphy's are outside the Mall. We drove there, had a meal, bought the Rum, (which I'm still drinking as I type this..........) and (as I'd had 2 pints of icy cold beer in 40 minutes or so) she drove home. All in all, a great day! ;D
