Made an old seat look new

When I bought my 72 CB750 it came with a Mustang two person seat that wasn't in bad shape but I had no need for it. Since it bolted right up to my stock mounts I decided to see to if I could make what I thought "a cooler looking seat". Here's some pictures of how it turned out.

 You read my mind. I was thinking of rounding the back of the seat and leaving the step, my bike pulls hard and I need the step to help stay on it.
