500/550 oil pump "O" rings
« on: September 14, 2010, 07:41:38 AM »
I have in the past been able to supply "O" ring kits to cure the cover leak on the 500/550 oil pump.

Unfortunately my old supplier has changed hands and no longer stocks the "Slow Moving" parts and is not willing to order in quantities i can afford to buy to sell over 5 years!

However to help all out I have been doing some research and discovered that whilst Honda do not list the cover "O" ring as a separate part for the 500/550 the correct size is used on other bikes and so for those in need here are the part numbers and sizes:-

91305-426-003 oil pump cover      46x2     one required
91302-377-000 suction and feed   15x2.5  two required
91302-250-010 casing to block     47x3      one required

Best wishes to all and hope that that helps

750 Oil Pump O-Rings
« Reply #1 on: September 14, 2010, 09:40:31 AM »
FYI:  UPDATED WITH ADDITIONAL PART NUMBER

Our 750 oil pump also uses some of these same o-rings. Perhaps you could update the title?!

91305-426-003 O-Ring 46 X 2 seals the oil pump left cover and right cover to the oil pump body.  2 required.
91302-377-000 O-Ring 15 X 2.5 is used with the dowels 3 required
91302-377-000 O-Ring 15 X 2.5 used on oil leak stopper cap 1 required
91208-MN1-771 Oil Seal 11 X 15 X 3 used on the drive gear shaft 1 req'd (superceded part number)

My info comes from my Honda Service Manual pg 31 Lubrication System diagram 3-2. It provides the dimensions but not the part numbers. Thanks for finding the part numbers. I put in a call to my Honda dealer. The parts lady was able to cross reference the seal by dimensions with a chart they have. Glad I didn't get the guys behind the counter! She is good! I just put my pump back together but it hasn't been installed yet. Those 46 X 2 O-Rings were pretty stiff but will now get replaced.

Anyone know the quantities per each of these o-rings for the 550 oil pump?

I looked at PartZilla, and they say 1 of each.
