1969 cb750 Sandcast Cafe Vintage - $15000 (Muncie)
Taking offers on an original 1969 model cb750 "Sandcast" Honda motorcycle. Pics will be shot out to anyone who calls me and ask's for them. I will ship this bike worldwide and can deliver within a reasonable distance. This will be a cash sale only and if that is a problem then please do not respond to this ad. I will be more than happy to fill any potential buyers in on the phone and answer any questions you might have. The bike does however not have all the original oem parts intact or included all these years later and those "missing" original parts would include- carbs, airbox, headlight bucket, fork ears, handlebars and both handlebar controls, mirrors, rear grab bar, center stand, exhaust or any associated mounting hardware and very little else. I wont list what "is" there other than to say basically everything else. I have the original rear hub and sprocket carrier but it was laced to a 16" wheel at one point and still is. THIS BIKE RUNS LIKE NEW! The odometer shows 17,000 some miles but I dont think it is original as when I purchased the bike, included in the parts pile that came with it was a busted speedo showing 39,000 approx. I believe the 39 to be true. This bike has serial # starting with 1004 on frame and 1003 on the motor so it is right around the middle of the production run and is in what would be considered the earlier part of the production run where they were using the lotus root style exhaust from the factory so it is an original of the original. Bike will only go up in value and is an excellent investment opportunity. This bike will not sell cheap so dont call if you are not serious. Please dont waste my time as I do not really WANT to get rid of this bike. It took me 30 years to find one and I wont let go of it that easy just so you know. As it sits now I have it set up cafe style with header and custom made seat. It has old school lowering blocks in the rear and a spare set of fork springs cut 2" in the front tubes. The bucket, fork ears, tank sidecovers and tailpiece are painted white and the pipe, wheels, spokes and handlebars are kind of a satin black. It looks sooooo good. If you think your in the mood for a white sandcast christmas I can hook you up. Oh yeah, I have an original duckbill seat which is a later in the production run seat which has one small tear on the lower right rear that is included as well. Call me at 765-273-0340 and thanks for lookin!
