Well, i picked up a 76 CB750 today. It was cheap enough that i can get my money back if i have to part it out. It has DMV fees of almost $600. Im going to try and get them to remove them. The plan for this one like every other bike is to get it running well and then sell it. Hopefully i dont get attached. While I was there the guy mentioned that he had a British bike too. I looked and it was an AJS he said from 54. It was taken apart and stored in suitcases. He said he had everything but the frame and swing arm. I didnt see wheels either. I would like to have that but i dont have the money right now and im not really sure what thats is worth. Anyway, just thought i would start another build thread to keep track of progress and what i do to the bike. I tend to forget what i did when with all the projects i have going on.
HEre she is. Wrong front end on the bike but he gave me the stock front end as well. said the fork was leaking so he swapped it out. Tank is in good shape, fluids need to be changed and carbs cleaned. Said they got it to fire up but would not idle.
Came with a few boxes of spare parts to the 750 and some 550 stuff.
