Terry,

I reckon you should buy it, sort it, keep the best bits, junk the rest back to the recyclers....they will only want the melt down value, they would not have a clue what it's worth.....

Do you still have that Suzuki ??? you were thinking about selling - a few pictures and I could possibly get interested?? may help with your impending purchase....

If I was closer I would come help you (or myself) to possibly some goodies...

Sorry to hear that a mate passed on, his wife sounds like a (not allowed to say it)

let us know, heaps of pics required. :) :)..

G'Day Charlie, no worries mate, I'll drag it out of the garage this weekend and take some pics, it's a great bike, I fitted a Martek electronic ignition in it and was able to get it to start and idle at only 200 RPM! (No, the Martek's not included) Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Hey Terry do you know this guy!

Australian Motorist Plays Dead for Car Help

SYDNEY, Australia - A driver stranded on a remote stretch of Australian highway Wednesday tried to summon help by playing dead in the middle of the road, a police officer said.

A woman who was driving with her two children spotted the man and had to swerve to avoid hitting him, said Doug Backhouse, a detective with the Western Australia state police.

"She drove around the body _ which didn't move at all _ and got to the nearest phone," Backhouse said.

Local police arrived with an ambulance and found the man alive and well, but with car troubles.

"The best way he thought to get a vehicle to stop was to lay down in the middle of the road and pretend to be dead," Backhouse said, adding that the man didn't think anyone would stop if he were standing up.

Police said they told the man that lying in the road was "a stupid thing to do," but didn't charge him with any offense.

The incident occurred near Esperance, about 450 miles southeast of the state capital, Perth.

It's called playing Possum..

If I was where that guy was, and broke down, I would possibly do the same thing ( not lay down - I would try and wave them down), as other motorists not recognising the situation and fearing their own safety would not stop- particularly a woman driving with children..

A guy driving a semi trailer would probably have stopped..
