I had every intention of changing out from my old stock seat...
but after several years and many miles of riding I've concluded I like it the way it is.
I like to be able to adjust my position a bit every now and then on longer rides...
and slide my ass back a bit sometimes so I can more easily get the racing position if I need to.
... or forward and sit up straight when I'm riding through the park.

Those Corbin style seats do look very nice...
although I'd rather have tool storage or something other than a (not very useful but pretty) padded hump.

Thanks, Really.  If you decide on a price send me a PM and we'll go from there.

Lets see if tapatalk works right. The oly things that stand out that I see are the scuff marks on the bottom part of the cover in the pic and that storage thing is missing a tab and the other tab is not connected. It holds on like it is though.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Umm, just my humble opinion but I think the harder the seat when you first sit on it the more comfortable the longer you go - just like a bicycle seat. And leather breathes more than vinyl so no sweaty hiney.

RR, can you post a ballpark price on your seat as pictured? I really like the looks but on a tight budget :)

PM sent, Jiminy. RR

TY for posting all the pics K5 Keith - Nice looking ride!  What's your opinion of the seat now? I'm assuming you've had a chance to ride it a little bit more.

I have ridden it more now and I'm very happy with it! Amazing improvement over the stock seat as far as comfort. So, I'd give it my recommendation.

After it was all said and done, decided the best approach was just to try a couple of different seats.  Went ahead and bought one of Ricky Racer's Giuilari reproduction seats.  He offers some different options as far as logos on the tail section & sides,  but because my bike is going to be something of a "stealth" bike, with as few badges or logos, I opted for no logos.  RR's seat also has rubber bushings on the seat pan, similar to what Honda used.

Please excuse the current state of my garage & bike, but here's it fitted to the frame..

Thanks for the posting and the pics, Doug. I'm really glad you're pleased.

The following is definitely a shameless plug!  For direct purchases from board members with over 25 postings, I'm doing a run of these seats at a discounted price. $290 plus USPS Priority Insured shipping. As Doug mentioned, I can make them with or without logos, in most colors. The most popular logo colors are Gold, Silver or White. I can do No Logos, "Honda" only, or "Honda" with "CB750" on the sides of the hump. I produce these seats for the 1969-1976 CB750K only. Other models may be made later, but I ain't getting any younger.  :'(  Guys who have gotten these seats tell me that they're extremely comfortable and that the curved foam gives them a little more leg extension while stopped on the bike. The seat is a complete bolt-on replacement allowing for you to put your original seat back on for two-up riding.

There's not a lot of room and several of my vendors raised their prices recently, but I'll contribute $10 to the board for every seat sold to a board member.

The seat can be made in either a perfect replication of the original 1970's Giuliari seat from Italy (like Doug's) or in a plain unupholstered hump, paintable to match the bike's paint color.

All the hardware, including the hinges, is custom made in stainless steel. The excellent seat foam is custom molded by a large LA-based company. The vinyl is high-quality marine grade; the embossed pattern is a perfect replication of the Giuliari. The seat base is exceptionally strong and stiff. The rubber bumpers are Honda ($$$) OEM. No compromises on quality! All the components are made in the USA and I do the final assembly here in San Diego.

Since I make these seats to order, lead time is usually about a week. So guys, just drop me a PM if you're in the game and I'll build one for you. Thanks! ;D  RR

RR seats are great.  Ted sold one to me and I love it.  It is comfortable and makes my bike look better.  Plus, in the midwest,  no one has seen this kind of seat!   Build quality is superb.    Just need to bring the rest of the bike up to the standard of the seat.

Giuliari seat look really nice!
CB750 Four in gold print as the seats I saw for sale here 30+ years ago. Many retailers had them so it's strange that there are no NOS out there for sale. I was close to buy one many years ago.....

Giuliari seat, nice 4-1 like Yoshi, Alfa, RC, modified engine, clubman handle bar and everything else OEM CB750 style, very beautiful and classy style.

PeWe - RR can do the gold Honda and CB750 four logos on the seats, too.
