A few things came in the mail, so I was able to finish up my carbs with viton o-rings for the fuel tees. They were NLA from Honda, and I couldn't find them anywhere but ebay in 8x2mm. The original size is 7.8x1.9mm, so these ones are close enough. Viton is a strange feeling material, it has more friction to it than normal rubber. Here's a link to the auction for anyone needing them:

It will be a shame to hide them under gaiters. They did forget to send me the free fork seals I was promised. Pretty weak because I'm taking all of next week off work, and I was planning to put them together one of the days I'm at the shop, where there's help. So, you guys may have to answer some questions when I finally get the seals. I'm now thinking about having the fork lowers clear coated after I finish them; that seems to be what the other sandcast guys do, and I want it to be up to par.
I got tired of the electrolysis method for cleaning the tank, so I bought some Evapo-Rust and threw a gallon in the wrinkle tank. I think some sorcerer must have brewed that stuff, because it's working some magic
I'm letting it soak overnight, so I'll post before/after pics in the morning. It only eats up the rust, and if I don't rinse it out, it will leave a film that will prevent flash rust for up to two weeks - plenty of time to fog it with something to last until after the paint. I bought two gallons, but only put one in. I've been rotating it every hour, and it's making great progress. The metal looks like NOS tanks I've had in the cleanest spots after half of a day.
