Anyone live near here?  Looking at a bike that is in this area and would pay to have you go look at it for me.

Thx

I know Wenatchee well but have no way of transporting a bike at the moment. You might try a local storage place and see if the bike owner will store it until you can get it.

Not asking for transport, just a visit to the guys house/shop to verify the general cond and running cond, 30 minutes tops. Will pay you for your time.
I would have a shipper pick up, no prob there.

The bike is a '74 Kaw H1 500  in fair to good cond and he's not asking a lot of money, basically a nice project bike.

Frank - I'll PM Flybox, thanks for the tip.

Ah I guess I should read the entire post first  ::) Good luck sounds like a cool ride. Wenatchee is a hot dry climate so probably no rust issues. Have you seen a pic?

Saw the ad.

Sweet ride. Better hurry he's advertising it in Seattle now. Much bigger market.

Yes, smash and grab....pays a grand!     jk, of course.  Just need him to put some eyes and ears on it and confirm it's legit. I did talk to the guy, he was kind of a smart ass when I asked him why he listed the bike in Austin when it's in WA. "cuz guys in TX buy bikes like these" was his answer. Well, guess he's right.

Fly - thanks, PM sent.
