I've never seen a muffler that didn't have a removable baffle. I can't speak to the stock mufflers myself, as my bike had rotted mufflers from day one (for me). An old approach was to drill holes in the baffles - start small/few and test as you go.

I looked inside my muffler and it looks like many of the holes are clogged. May try flushing out with kerosene when the time comes. That could make a difference in sound.

On second thought, I've been known to just remove the stock muffler

i know from experience when you remove the mufflers you lean out the carbs.these things are allready lean so you might/probably will have to rejet the carbs
