Was kind of cool. I woke up this morning with no intention of showing the bike. With the morning consumed with the biz and delivering three bikes.. I decided to check out this small local show.

After I walked around and assessed the competition. I decided to go back and get the bike and show it. In the end I went away with a best of class trophy.

Not bad really. Next year we will be taking our Cafe's out to the show.

Now I am torn between the Blues Festival Bike and car show here in Reedsburg and the vintage Iola show in the next few weeks.

Congrats on best of class. It must be a great feeling to walk around and say damn I gotta get my bike, I can win something here. It must suck to be the guy who has it in the bag to you come rolling in. Screw em someones gotta lose.

Funny I was gonna strap it to the handle bars like Marlon Brando in the Wild One

With the pouring rain I aske dthe wife to carry it home as she brought the car so we could have comfy seats as we were waiting to collect the trophy.

Post some pics. I would say small trophy but I always got participation ribbons for anything I entered. So nice trophy wish I had one.

What was the "class" Cheapy?

I entered my 500 in our local show and the only class available was "Japs" so I was up against super-turbo-nitro-busa thingies...

The dash is a polished unit. No chrome, just polished.

Any no, I took her out there without the clean up

To take a trophy, without detailing the bike, says alot for you and the bike Tom. I
particularly like the detail work, like the polished dash piece. Congratulations on a job well
