I hope not done, but by the time the little pimpster got up here, the weather was turning to isht.
This is why we are changing the format for next year. Just when is the ideal riding season in the PNW? BTW, I was in Monroe when St Helens blew the second time...
IN Monroe? :o
I hope you mean 'visiting' as there's a state pen there  ;D.
Spent part of that summer cleaning the grandparents place of all the ash over in Yakima. I was 10. ;D
Aug-Sept is the best up here, but April-Nov I keep her road worthy.

Ha! Definitely not November. One day might be nice enough and the next it's sideways rain/possible snow and hail. Even on nice days the mornings are soaking wet from dew fall. Last year I think it was August, that or September is usually the best. Yes we have two months of summer/ 10 months of Fall/Spring.  ;)

I was standing in a parking lot in Chelan when I felt it go off in May 1980. Didn't know what it was until we got home and turned on the news. They closed the passes an hour after we drove over.

LOL, no, I was in Monroe for work; I had to modify about 1000 circuit boards for the local telephone co. One of their requirements was no interruptions in service. I would modify 8 at a time, then one of the local techs would swap them into the working system when the lines were idle, giving me 8 more to work on. He got to one set of telephone lines that were continually in use, and when he realized they were the lines going to the prison phones yanked the boards out. There was something in the paper the next day about a minor riot, and I always suspected it was somehow related to guys getting cut off and loosing their turn on the phone.
Getting back to the weather, doesn't it rain quite a bit in mid-August?

I think the Dakotas were missed as well, but I wouldn't recommend riding there at this time of year. :o

Aug and Sept are the best 'San Diego like' sunny weather.  If it does rain, it doesn't last long.

I grew up in western Washington. Septembers are usually pretty nice. As kids, Mother Nature played a cruel joke on us when it would rain all summer, then turn nice right when we had to go back to school.

Pimpzilla stepped outta the box today, ready for some more adventures. He had an empty double deuce in there w/ him that looked like it must've been pretty tasty. He said us norcal folks don't know what hops are and that Washington state brewed the best IPAs in existence. I guess I'll just have to take him at his word for now. Thanks Flybox!

So Matt is Pimpzilla with you now?  Are you the starting point for WT4?  I love that he still has his outfit AND all the accoutrements...
