The installation of stainless steel braided hoses for the disc brake has encountered a problem.
My intension was to replace the rubber hoses and the metal tube, Honda #45128-323-020, with aftermarket parts. The braided hoses and fittings ( 2"x 2" chromed L ) were purchased through a motorcycle shop and reputible supplier of motorcycle parts.
The problem is the threaded portion that screws into the caliper. The Honda thread has a metric pitch of 1.25 while the aftermarket has a pitch of SAE 24.
Is there a source of parts/adapters that match the caliper thread pitch?
