Help needed to identify Seat
« on: April 20, 2013, 07:27:50 AM »
I bought a 78 Hondamatic 750 and this seat was on it. I have since purchased a stock seat. I would like to sell this one, but would like to know which model/year it is from. The lock post on the seat is about 1 inch in front of the lock on the frame?? Anyone have any ideas. The hinge side lines up fine. The only tag on the seat is "Hang 2."

I can't help you - but you may have better luck posting in the SOHC/4 Bikes forum:

http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?board=2.0
1978 CB750A (upgrading very, very slowly)

Past bikes - Honda: SL350, CX650C, CB900C, CB1000C, CM450A; Kawasaki: several 1972 750 H2's; Suzuki: TC90J.

Bikes I want: CX650ED, a mid-sized japanese V-twin with ABS.
