shock mount threads are toast- 78 cb750

got one shock mount that the threads are totally stripped and beyond repair. Gonna have to weld in a donor...

anyone have a junk frame they would saw one off for me ?any cb750 would do .

I did see these from dime city I think I could use for a plan B

Try this,get a bushing machined that slips over an inch and a 1/2 or more of the unthreaded part, and at least an inch and 1/4 on the thread side.. Drill the thread side to TAP Drill size. Now drill out the buggered thread, tap to original size at least 1/2 deep or more..then loctite in a stud or setscrew..
