Best Wishes for the Folks in Oklahoma
« on: May 20, 2013, 05:58:00 PM »
The News is filled with horrific images of destruction. I hope all members in OK and their loved ones are well. My prayers go out to those who lost their homes or lives in this disaster.
Dedicated to Sgt. Howard Bruckner 1950 - 1969. KIA LONG KHANH.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

Ditto.

I just came in from a day long web design meeting adn saw this.
We are all praying for those affected.

If I could I'd go down and help clean up.

Just broke in with news, 51 deaths so far in Moore. Very sad.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Thanks for the kind thoughts.  We certainly took one on the chin.

I was unaffected by the storms but a girl I work with completely lost her home and everything she owned. The previous day, her parents house had been destroyed.  We (the company) are going to figure out how we can help her get back on her feet.

It's always amazing how everyone pulls together when something like this happens.  People are waiting in lines to donate needed supplies. The Thunder have been great. Kevin Durant alone donated one million dollars and several other players and the organization have donated several more million.

We'll recover just like we always do but this was a pretty brutal hit.  We are very lucky that there wasn't a lot more loss of life but we sure feel for those who lost family members.

Has anyone heard from Zeek?  Rode a CB350F last year along with Coke, Wes & Taxiscooter?  If I remember right he was from OK City...Hope he's doing okay.
