Topic: CB400F carbs and CB550F carbs

I heard that with a cb550 you can put on cb750 carbs and it will help take out flat spots and improve performance.  Any idea which year 750 carbs work. 
Also with the 400f I was told that the Cr Mikuni race carbs take out your bottom end and add 10% more power just in the mid range and top end, any ideas if there is anything out there that would work alot like the CR's but not rob the bottom end off there or is this not true at all............

...I've never heard anyone running 750 carbs on their 550...  First you have to deal with the carb boot issue 550 are smaller than the 750, then the jetting....if you found proper way to mount them I think you'd have to jet way lean <100 to restrict the larger intake...
