I just looked at many pages of member names and page 28 and 29 did not have all as a member yet. Alot of bizarre member names and many new members with zero posts.

Yikes. This is getting wild. I dealt with Fender and he is a cool dude. Not sure why all the hostility is going on. But I read the first 6 pages. Stopped and now waiting to find out if the 166 was a production bike that was heavily modded
O.K. My face is really red. The picture I posted of an RC166 really anRC181. I went back to the Solvang Motorcycle Museum today and discovered my mistake. So here are my latest pictures of the four cylinder 500, not the six cylinder 350 like I thought.

So, no impressive 450 racebike?
There was no 450 displacement class RC racebike?
Clearly there was an injustice done...it would not stand for the 450 owners to be slighted in this callous uncaring way today with no wrong answers in school...

Afternoon you lot.

When I last read the Honda history book it spoke about Bob Hansen racing a CB450 fresh from Japan, but I never read anything about an RC class anywhere.

And as a CB450 owner - I could not give a foetid dingo's kidney whether there was a 450 displacement RC racebike, I don't think it was ever impressive enough to warrant that honour.

I'm off to play with Mikunis.

(There's a lovely VF1000R for sale here at the moment - how about you septics sending some more of them over here for us to fabricate about with whilst our arses hang out?)

'Twas a pity that your "less than impressive" 450's carbs wouldn't allow you to go for a ride yesterday Cliff, I had a great ride to Ballarat and back, and a nice lunch at the Hog's Breath Cafe.

It was F-F-Farking cold, but apart from a little sleet as I rode into Ballarat, was otherwise a great day. I sat on 75 MPH (US speedo) there and back, and still got 56 MPG on 91 RON fuel. Amazing!

If you have to buy a horrible VF1000 to "Fabricate about with" with your arse hanging out, buy an "R", the "F" was a POS, and much less impressive than the "R", which was actually a fairly impressive bike. I'd still like one, even though they were heavy and fragile. (like me) ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Impressive how you knew when to get out Mick.  Hmmm, sounds suspicious, makes me wonder how you managed to set off an earthquake ???
