Terry, now i'm off to the pissed off thread, i can't believe you just called me a drummer.... :o ;D

I have 10 guitars that say otherwise....maybe i should sell one and buy a bike....

While on topic, do you know why drummers leave their drum sticks on the dash of their car..?

This is why I think Fender thinks 450 are the most impressive..... This is a pretty sick looking bike....

I bought this bike from the original owner in 1979 when I was 17. I'm sad to part with it after so many years but since I've got a bunch of kids and a wife, I decided it was time to let someone else enjoy it. You'll get lots of waves cruising around the lakes on this classic.

The bike has 100% original parts except the tires and mirrors. The tires were new last year. I rebuilt the carbs last year and it runs great. This is the first model KO design with the 4 speed. It shifts through all gears smoothly. You'll see from the pics that the bike is clean. Tank and pipes are mint. Chrome is in great shape but the spokes need some polishing. The seat is original but is has a small tear. The tach needs to be rebuilt but a guy does that for $75 in California. It has 23,750 miles on it.

If you're looking for a true classic Honda, this is it. The CB450 came out in 1965 after the success of the 305 Scrambler. The Black Bombers was the best motorcycle Honda made and was seen at the time as an engineering marvel. It was their showcase bike until they came out with the CB750 in 1969.

This bike looks, runs and even sounds great. Similar bikes are selling for $10k. If you're serious about buying, please contact Greg at 952.484.6434

Still think my '66 bomber looks better and goes better - which makes mine worth well over $10,000 here in Aus 'wanglover land.

Hey Terrry - why don't we combine spare parts and build a one of a kind CB450F?

Imagine a row of four CB450 carbs on an F engine...

Actually, I like that original Black Bomber Cliff, but considering what yours looked like before you waved your wang, er, I mean, wand over it, yours is pretty special.

Hmmnnn, you can buy a lot of bike for $10K though, I've been looking at replacements for the mighty Rocket III and I've seen a Ducati 916 and a Bimota SB6 so far for that kind of dough, and a first year MV Agusta F4 750 for 13K, all of which I'd much rather own than a CB450, or even a CB750, for that matter.

And yep, a tired F2 engine with a bank of CB450 carbs would be the ultimate. (nightmare, that is) You can add CX500 carbs to "The worst carbs ever put on a Motorcycle" list while you're at it, when I converted mine to 34mm Mikuni's, and added some freer flowing pipes, it was like strapping a supercharger on it. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Oh, and good afternoon all! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
