Yeah I understand that could sound kinda crappy, but unfortunately I don't make a ton of money. The bike is one that I really wanted and I was hoping to get it for a price that would allow me to get any incidentals (needs a rear tire, battery is fairly old) that the bike needs and still stay within my budget. I did end up paying the $1500 which I definitely can't complain about, it just would have been nice to not have to wait to get a new tire for the back, and for some other parts for my cars. All's well that ends well I suppose though.
