Exhaust cut-out
« on: August 10, 2006, 08:10:54 PM »
Anybody ever heard of an Exhaust cut-out on a motorcycle? The cb750 4 into 1 head pipe with no muffler sounds ridiculous. I know it’s not good for performance, but its just for shows, fun, ect. Any thoughts?  :P

Do you mean a bypass valve transfering the gasses away from the silencer to an open pipe ?

Dump caps? I've never heard them on a bike, but I pulled the muffler off my SL175 once and it was scarry loud.
