I had a "win" yesterday...
« on: August 11, 2006, 05:51:15 AM »
Bolted on the new CMS reproduction ductail and went for a 30 mile round trip for coffee. Got home, the on-side plug cavity looked all oily so did a visual check...pulled the plug, worn to buggery so drove into the local dealer for some NGK D8EA's. The head mechanic spent 25 minutes fitting them (I don't have the right plug spanner for the two inside plugs). No charge for labour. He says, "Just go and enjoy your ride, have fun"....Frickin-fur-out. Jim is his name and I think he is a motorcyclist as well as a mechanic.
