I bought a 1977 CB550F in 2008. It came in three boxes a rolling frame. I put the last NOS original part back on the bike today. It is not restored to original show room but it looks good and turns a few heads at work and at the hamburger stands and the local car shows. I have to thank Doug from New York for supplying me with the protective bands that hold the exhaust joint cover in place. I look forward to seeing his collection when he gets resettled. I ride my 77 regularly and a 1981 650C is my daily driver. I am looking forward to a summer ride on the 550 in the Carolina mountains next spring. Thanks for all the help guys.
