can anyone Identify this cylinder. I found it in a box of sohc speed/drag parts. maybe an air shifter?

Yeah, probably an air shifter. Look for a solenoid air valve and a short lever splined to fit on the shifter shaft.

Unfortunately that's all there is, it was in the last box I sorted. Oh well, I'll hang it on the wall.

what parts do you mean? The sohc speed parts? They will be for sale, just haven't got to them yet. New Piston kits, all forged some for turbo and some hi-compression, polished super rods, 836 big bore kit with clearanced  case, a few cams, including one marked turboIII, and 4-5 cranks some stroked all balanced. Oh and copper head gaskets and a set of polished manley valves too.

Yep that's it. I did find a tank, but I had thought it was an old nitrous bottle. It's definitely co2. Matched one in pictures I've seen now. Thanks on that. And 754 if you saw something on that list that excites you just pm me.

It looks like a Humpries air cylinder, used by all the air shipter manufacturers.
