CB400F in pieces
« on: August 16, 2013, 09:15:19 AM »
So yet another cb400 has found its way to me. Except this one is totally disassembled and pretty rough. The guy is asking $300, bike has no title. Dont really need another 400 but was thinking about parts in the future or a possible part out and make my money back. My question is what do you guys think about price, should i jump on this? I was thinking of possibly making the spare motor into a 466 in the future if i get it. Odometer reads 6XX miles!

Hmm.....I have a frame. if you parted them out, I suppose I could get whole bunch of stuff from you, including the motor, but no idea if worth the trouble though

I bought my 1975 CB400F for $220 (with title, wouldn't start) with the thought that I could probably sell the fuel tank (in great shape) for more than what I paid for the entire bike. If you are looking for something just to mess with on the weekend I would offer less and see what happens!
