Are these LESTER's
« on: September 28, 2013, 04:48:41 PM »
Bunch of parts for cb750 F models and these were among them .
Are they lesters? What do these commonly bring. I know the rear disc is less desirable IIRC correctly.

They may be Morris.  I like them in those sizes.. Too bad I cant get them.  They should have sideplates for the bearing on each side of both wheels..

On second look middle looks to fat on front wheel and 4 bolt disc in back look like Kawi stuff..

Kawasaki. The Morris wheels have a sharp edge where the bare aluminum rim meets the painted part, while the Kawi is more rounded. Also, the silver on the edges of the spokes is painted on the Morris, and is machined on the Kawi wheel.

Kaws used morris in 76 or 77 on the kz900 & kz1000. also harley used the Morris wheels in 77 sportsters only.

Afaik the Kaw LTD used them one year i think
HD at lest two years.. On the XLCR..and they were sold for years by HD as an acessory option for some of their models.
And many race teams used Morris wheels.
