Ignition switch
« on: August 20, 2006, 04:02:19 PM »
Ok... maybe I'm a moron (no comments please) but I just noticed that the ignition switch on my CB750 76 has three positions.  One position for "off" and two positions for "ignition."  I don't have a manual so I'm guessing... Anyone have a clue as to why there are two ignition positions?

On my 74 750, the second position turns on only the parking light (if I wiggle the broken wires), and the key is removable.

My '76 750f works exactly like yours, except the key is removable in any position.   ;D

I have off, ignition, lock, and "p" for parking lights.

Actually I haven't tried to remove the key in the run position. I'll see tomorrow, I just assumed that it was not removable in the run position(if it is It probably shouldn't be).
