When you set the timing, don't worry about idle. Dyna is not real clear about this, and I had to figure it out and waste time. Just rev the engine above 2500 RPM and adjust so the advanced setting is between the two advanced marks. Do this for both pickups. You will need a timing light by the way. Then just cover it up and go. I am still amazed at the difference in starting. I used to have to crank a while, now it starts almost immediately. That alone is worth the $120. The engine also seems smoother and more powerful, but that may just be in my head. I got my Dyna S from Z1 by the way.
