1977 carb check valve

Hello
       . I have connected a hose  between Solinoid valve and carb without  a check valve will the bike run without the valve. Just a test run so if the engine will run like a sick dog that is ok thx

Yes the bike will run without the check. 
1978 CB750A (upgrading very, very slowly)

Past bikes - Honda: SL350, CX650C, CB900C, CB1000C, CM450A; Kawasaki: several 1972 750 H2's; Suzuki: TC90J.

Bikes I want: CX650ED, a mid-sized japanese V-twin with ABS.

Yes the bike will run without the check.
Yes, it'll run.  But the idle in gear won't behave like it should because of the vacuum pulsations having to suck open the throttle opener repeatedly. The check valve causes the throttle opener to lock wide open after a few vacuum pulses, so the port at the carb is effectively sealed after that.

+1 Stu.  But for your "test run", it won't matter . . . .
