If you've bought a Power Arc ignition and it's still sitting in the box, or you plan on buying one, here is the way that I figured out how to mount up the coil without having to modify or buy anything else. It may have already been covered somewhere else and I'm just unaware, but this is what worked for me.

If you'll look at the first picture, note that the stock coil brackets are "shorter stem" to the rear, and "longer stem" to the front.

When you take the coil packs out, make sure and save the screws (second picture) that mount the old coils to the brackets. You'll be reusing those.

Once you've taken the brackets off of the coils, you'll want to mount them back in the frame with the "shorter bracket" to the front and the tab to the right side, and the "longer bracket" to the rear with the tab to the left.

Keep them loose for now because you'll want some wiggle room to get the new coil into the frame.

When you go to mount up the coil, make sure you put the wires to the left of the frame. This allows you easier access to the wiring harness for your +12v from the kill switch, but also puts the firing posts for cylinders 1 & 2 on the same side.

Then line up the TWO mounting holes on the left side of the coil with the brackets and secure it with the screws we took off earlier to reuse.

And that's pretty much it! I'm sure there's a much better (cleaner) way to mount the coil with a home fab bracket, but this actually worked out surprisingly well for me. Hope this helps somebody who doesn't want to go through the hassle of making another bracket.

I ordered the kit from Cycle X here in the states. It was about a 1 and 1/2 half turnaround time from Wisconsin to Georgia. Check the Power Arc site, I know they have a European distributor also.

I've only temporarily fitted the ignition to just get familiar with how it needs to be wired. Pretty straight forward if you have a basic knowledge of plug and play wiring diagrams and setting the motor to TDC. I have my front end off for now (polishing and rebuilding the forks) so I don't have a ride report yet.

My initial experience is that it bursts to life first kick and revs super crisp and quick. Big improvement over my crusty/sticking mechanical advance.
