Clutch Hub
« on: December 21, 2013, 12:03:05 am »
Had problems this time with the clutch grabbing in a weird way when i brought the rpm's up to launch the bike. Took the clutch assembly apart to inspect and discovered wear issues with the hub. Check out the one on the left. I'll be installing the one on th right i bought from a fellow forum member. I guess banging the clutch on a bike with a slick over time caused the steels to eat into the aluminum. Something to pay attention to in the future as part of my maintenance program.

;D yes ,everything was sliding so smoooothly! Not!! Yes age and miles cause some wear, but usually what you see there is a case of " hammering it" ! ;D Bill
