As much as stuff to make your bike look/sounds cool is tempting the carb sync is the responsible decision.

That said I would get the #$%*ing exhaust.

New tires? Or exhaust I recently went and looked at a 72 500 and it had aftermarket Mac exhaust on it and it was very impressive the sound that it made. It didn't sound like a 500 at all.

Those looks nice tt. Are those the Honda ones?!

These are what I was thinking of getting off amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/Vacuum-Carburetor-Synchronizer-Carb-Gauge/dp/B004MSJ7E6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1387907453&sr=8-2&keywords=carb+sync+tool

Still would have 100 left to spend though! If it doesn't go to parts/toys, itll go to booze. Not a bad thing, but less productive.

Are hookers that expensive!!? In baltimore you can get them for $100!!!

Ha I got my 500 for $300. Haven't seen a 750 go lower than that around here. I am going to buy one soonish though. I'm still looking on for a good deal with 4-4s. The 750 w/o the 4-4s is like apple pie without ice cream. Delicious but not as good.

If it were me with $175....I would go for the sync tool but I would take it up a notch. Spend the extra $$$ and get a Morgan carb tune. I never played with the mercury but have had gauges in the past. Morgan kicks their a$$ hand down. I got mine a handfull of years ago and it was a tad over $100 shipped to Cali from England. Most likely a bit more by now but would still leave ya a chunk to spend on booze, beer, or whatever. Other than that would be electronic ignition but that could get pricey. I have no experience with anything other than a Dyna 2000 and a set of Accel coils that came with wires. I bought these back in early 2000's from Dennis Kirks. The Dyna was like $375 and the coil set was $150. Those items have probably gone up in price also but there may be better and cheaper technology since then. I've been curious about Hondaman's set-up over the last few years. I've heard a bit of rave here about it.
On the other hand....................hookers are cool too if ya get the right one!!! ;D ;D ;D 8).Happy Holidays!!!

Hooker?

No, I think that's the right one Steve.

Or in lieu of spending good money on that I'd go for an electronic ignition.

As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

I would go with the sync tool. If you own more than 1 bike it is a must.

Hooker?
