« on: September 06, 2006, 01:11:14 AM »
Guys,

I discovered this little gem sitting at my local repairers - does it tickle your fancy ???

By the way it was leaking petrol out the carbies, thats what the stain on the ground is - petcock was also turned off...

There's a good reason whay that's not a common sight in Oz, Charlie...................... (is there a "puking" smilie available Glenn?) Ha ha, Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

It is a really nice bike- all the guys at the repairers said so.......

When I walked past it, the smell from the petrol was pretty bad... I just touched the pod on #1 and got a handful of fuel...

Hope they empty it before they put it back in the shop tonight...

Oh and the cow leather is really smoooth -----I reckon it's eazy rider          OZ style     :D ;D ;D

Wait till you start getting cars that look like this. They are already sharing the same exhaust style.

if you really want to take a look here are more cars, even more outrageous than the one above.

I had to add this one. You should see the Cow Catcher on the other side of this car.

Wait till you see the one with the huge wing. You'll know which one I am talking about when you see it.

You guys might think I'm crazy, But...... I always dug that old school rice. ;D  I'm not saying I particularly like the crazy huge wings or the spatula for the front end.  But there are some examples of cars like the old skylines, supras, 240z and truenos, that are tight. I like the the style of function over form ie. exposed oil coolers and the deep dish wheels with crazy camber wastegates dumping out the side of the car, monster intercoolers, etc. but that's me.  For classic examples  check out the nostalgic show in that same link.  Those gaudy clown cars that look like transformers are trying to emulate the race cars shown, albeit extremely exaggerated.  :P

Rhonda750F,  Me too!  I had a '73 Toyota Corona wagon that I totally loved!!!   I was lead tech at an automotive shop that specalized in Hondas at hte time...  My boss has a slick 70's US muscle car, and my little 'yota wagon could knock his socks off.   OF course my little car was heavily breathed on -- but still my 2000cc could smoke his 454ci!!!

Oh, those are exhaust pipes? Hell, I thought they were lever handles to pull and get the front of the car up for maintenance. Silly me.  ;D

I wonder how fast the bike was going when he hit the cow to get the skin on the seat and push the mufflers so far back.

Okay, go ahead and laugh but I like the seat, seriously. I could see doing something like that on a cafe racer.
